In circuito
Apotropia (with the collaboration of Giovanni Belli)The stars provide us with a photograph of the past, yet for millenia men has been observing the trajectories of celestial bodies in order to interpret the future. The inter-connection and the cyclical path of celestial bodies are the fundamental parameters that allow men to hypothesize future events by deciphering those of the past.
In Circuito is an installation that focuses on the cyclicity of the nature through geometries, sounds and light projections within a “circumscribed space of sky”: a templum in its original meaning.

Project born from the artistic partnership between Antonella Mignone (Turin, 1980) and Cristiano Panepuccia (Rome, 1979). Active since 2007, their research explores the anthropological roots and philosophical-scientific components of human culture through the languages of video, dance, sound, installation and performance.

Stand-by me
Fabio BattistettiThis work is a sculpture consisting of terracotta pots, garden soil and cacti. The pots reproduce the stand-by symbol typical of electronic devices - while the plant it contains is among the crops that require the most minimal but targeted attention to ensure their survival. Accustomed to employing this symbol to switch our everyday devices on and off, we have become oblivious to its use and existence. Through this oxymoron between a total form of indifference and a subtle demand for care, Stammi vicino is an invitation to switch off technology and switch on ourselves through the cultivation of a plant.

Artist and sound designer (Turin, 1975). He merges various languages in his audiovisual repertoire. He creates installations and performances that interpret the natural environment as a space of active interaction. Emotional elements like empathy and spiritual aspects such as personal connections are expressed through influences ranging from glitch and fractals to the stylistic features of minimalism.

Laura VialePSR B0329+54 is a pulsar star about 3460 light years away from the Earth, in the Camelopardalis Constellation. It is approximately 5 milion years old. Pulsars have originated from the explosion of very large supernova stars, of which an extemely smaller “heart” remains, where matter is in state of enormous compression. They can be intercepted thanks to their radio signal, a “pulsation” that corresponds to the rotation on theis own axis. Entitled with the first lines of an intense poem by Primo Levi, Laura Viale’s work transforms the radio signal of PSR B0329+54 into a light signal.

Artist (Turin, 1967) who lives and works in Brusseles, engaged in projects involving the media of photography, drawing, installation and digital techniques. In her work, nature and artifice, reality and fiction, are the field for the research of perceptual thresholds suspended between sensitive experience and abstraction. Through nature - in urbanised contexts as much as in wild places - she explores spaces of possible intersection between the outer and inner worlds.
