Share Campus Gallery. Mockumentary from 2050
Students of the Accademia Albertina of Fine Arts in Turin were asked to visualise the year 2050. What machines and technologies will we have in the next quarter of a century? How will they move, and what everyday needs they might fulfil? The answers to these questions have been exhibited at Share Campus Gallery. Each project comprises a print depicting the proposed technology and a QR code linked to a short mockumentary illustrating how it functions. The videos were created specifically using AI, with the aim of integrating the use of artificial intelligence into the creative and speculative process of imagining the future.
The result is an extract from a possible everyday life in 25 years. From devices for monitoring the environment or health, to wardrobes capable of recycling fabrics. From heat-sensitive technologies for growing plants to devices for recording one's oneiric activity...
